• Or you may enter multiple keywords separated with 'or' like dog or cat to find more than one topic at a time. The search will find all dog cartoons and all cat cartoons, not just cartoons with both dogs and cats.

• You can search titles like Wizard of Oz and Harry Potter or phrases like dog-eat-dog and mental health.

• You can also search cartoons by date. The format is: YYYY-MM-DD. For example, if the cartoon appeared on February 29, 2004, you would enter 2004-02-29.

ADVANCED SEARCHES

• Narrow Your Results - Using the word AND between keywords can help you narrow your search results. For example, by searching for cats and veterinarians, your results will only be cartoons that include both cats AND veterinarians. You can also use the plus symbol (+) instead of the word and. Quotations around search terms are not required.

• Expand Your Results - Using the word OR between keywords can get you more results. For example, by searching dogs OR computers, you can find all cartoons about dogs and all cartoons about computers, not just cartoons about both dogs and computers. You can also use a comma (,) instead of the word or. Quotations around the words are not required.

• Try searching your own name to see if it appears in a cartoon! Or a friend's name. It might be the perfect gift!
