HELP GET off the mark
IN YOUR NEWSPAPER!
(I can use all the help I can get!)

If you'd like to see off the mark in your local paper, let your editor know. There are no guarantees, but editors try to give readers what they want. Here are some tips:

1) Writing a postal letter is most effective, but emails and phone calls are great, too!

2) Be sure to include your name, address or phone number... and tell them WHY you just can't live without off the mark.

3) You can direct them to this web site, or let them know off the mark is distributed by United Feature Syndicate.

4) You should be able to get the contact information for your local newspaper from the newspaper itself, or from their web site. Most papers don't have anyone called a "comics editor," but the person to contact is usually a Managing Editor or a Features Editor.

5) Other ways you can help is to tell your friends about off the mark, or buy something from the store.
