2) Questions about using off the mark cartoons for your projects:

Can I use your cartoons for my project?

Yes, our off the mark cartoons are available for reprint use for a fee in Newsletters, Presentations, Magazines, Advertising, Brochures, Books, Web sites (individual cartoons or as a ongoing feature), daily newspapers, cartoon packages for newspapers, licensing,and other projects.

Our rates are based on the type of usage, number of cartoons used, frequency of use, print run, etc. The more you tell us about your project, the better able we will be to provide a quote.


Do I have to pay to use the cartoons on in-house newsletters, memos, bulletins, etc.?

Yes, we charge a fee to use our cartoons. We offer reasonable rates and provide frequency discounts if you order three or more cartoons. Please understand that the cartoons are our company's product and if we gave away free usage rights then we would not have a product to sell. To get a rate, please click here

3) Questions on usage by non-profit, charity, education, clubs and religious organizations.

I am a non-profit, religious organization, charity, or educational institution, may I use the cartoons free of charge?

No, we are unable to provide free usage of our cartoons. We offer discounts to educational and non-profit organizations such as yours, but we cannot accommodate requests for free material.

Please understand that the cartoons are our company's product and if we gave away free usage rights then we would not have a product to sell.

4) Questions about special reduced rates for students and teachers.

I am a student or teacher. Doesn't copyright law allow for free usage?

The fair usage portion of copyright law ONLY allows for free usage when used as a teaching tool. If you were teaching a class on the use of parody, you would be permitted to use one of our cartoons that shows a parody. Free usage does not include using a cartoon about math if you are teaching a math class.

Can I use your cartoons on my web site or intranet site?

Yes, for a fee you can post a few cartoons or get a regular cartoon packages. Cartoon packages can be ordered on many different subjects and get be provided as needed for daily, weekly, be-weekly, or monthly frequencies. For more information on rates,

Can I use your cartoons for FREE on my website if I give you proper acknowledgement and links?

No, but we do offer two different promotions that will allow you to post our cartoons on your web site or intranet site for free if in exchange you agree to post our advertising and links as described. When contacting us, be sure to let us know if you want to use a few cartoons or want to post a bunch, what subject matter or specific cartoons you are interested in, and your web site address. 6) Questions on Copyright laws and free usage

8) Questions about how to find and select the cartoons you want to use.

How do I find and select the cartoons I wish to use?

There are three ways to find the cartoons you need.

1) Use our searchable database. We are constantly updating the cartoons in the database and hope to have the entire collection of over 4000 cartoons entered by the end of 2004. Click here to search our database.

2) View our fixed categories of cartoons from our archives (scroll to bottom of page): Click here to search our fixed category archives.

3) If you can't find just what you are looking for, we would be happy to search our archives for you. Email us or call us at (781) 665-4442 or fax us at (781) 623-8199.

9) Questions about how long it will take to process a cartoon order

How long will it take to get my cartoons once I place my order?

Once we receive your order and have all the information we need to process the order we will process your order within 24 hours. (Monday-Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST, except USA Holidays). Rush orders are available. If your need is more urgent, please call (781) 665-4442.

Custom color orders may take longer than 24 hours to process.

Additionally, if you order more than 50 cartoons, please allow 5 business days. Rush orders are available. If your need is more urgent, please call (781) 665-4442.

10) Questions about how to pay for cartoons and payment methods available

Should send payment first ?

Prepayment is not required except for student, teacher and orders outside USA and Canada . We will bill you. We accept US currency checks drawn on a US bank, Mastercard, Visa, American Express processed through a secure web page and wire transfers for an extra $30 processing fee. No matter what method of payment you prefer, we will need all the contact information requested on the the order form. To go to order form, please CLICK HERE

Should I send you my credit card information?

No. Once the order has been sent out, we will send you an email with easy-to-use instructions for inputting your credit card information. We accept MasterCard, VISA and American Express.

11) Questions about files formats, size of cartons, and how cartoons are delivered

What file format will the cartoons be sent in?

We normally send high resolution Jpegs for print and presentations. Tifs are also available. If you prefer tifs, please specify along with whether you need a Mac or PC formatted file. For web based images, we send low resolution Gifs. If you prefer Jpegs for the web please specify with your order.

What size will the cartoons be?

Cartoons that are used for newsletters,brochures, presentations, etc, are approximately 3 inches wide by 4.2 high. Sunday formatted comics measure approximately 9.25 inches wide by 5.45 inches high. If you need a cartoon in another size,we can accommodate your request for an additional fee. For customized color cartoons, custom cartoons, and licensing, cartoons are created to your size specifications at no additional fee.

How do I get the cartoons?

We will email you the appropriate electronic file format for one or two cartoons. For larger orders we will set up a download page (with easy-to-use) instructions. Orders are usually filled within 24 hours(M-F 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EST) Rush orders are available. Please call (781) 665-4442. We can also send the cartoons via mail.

12) Questions about getting color cartoons even if they are only shown in black and white.

Can get any of the cartoons I see on the website in color?

Yes, many of the cartoons are already available in color and can be sent within 24 hours of your order. If we need to color the cartoon there is generally a about a one week turn-around. There is also an extra fee to use color cartoons. Rush orders are available. If your need is more urgent, please call (781) 665-4442.

Do you do custom cartoons?

Yes, for a fee, we can create custom cartoons. Our rates vary and depend on such factors as usages, copyrights wanted,and if you want black and white or color.  Questions about licensing our cartoons on your company's products.

Do you license your cartoons for use on products?

Yes, we make our cartoons available for use on most products. We have an archive of over 4000 cartoons that can be modified to use with your products and/or custom work can also be created. We currently have 14 licenses including: greeting cards, t-shirts, medical recall cards, calendars, books, and more.

 Questions about how to get signed prints and originals of your favorite cartoons.

Can I get a signed print of my favorite cartoon?

Yes, for a fee, the artist will personalize any of our cartoons. Signed prints make great gifts for all occasion. If you are looking for something specific for a gift, let us know a little bit about the person's hobbies and we can suggest some cartoons. We ship worldwide. Can I purchase a cartoon original?

Yes, for a fee, the artist will personalize an original cartoon. We ship worldwide. Original cartoons look a little different from the finished cartoon because the screens, color and shading are done electronically after the cartoon has been hand drawn and inked in.
